Crown & Willoww

The Poker Lounge: A dedicated space for offline social card play.

Crown & Willoww's Poker Lounge is a purpose-built room for friends, colleagues, and enthusiasts to gather around the table. The focus is on the social ritual of the game—reading opponents, sharing conversation, and enjoying the tactile feel of cards and chips—without any financial stakes.

A room built for the game

The Poker Lounge occupies a dedicated room adjacent to the main dining area, separated by a glass partition that maintains a visual connection while providing acoustic privacy. The room is furnished with four full-size poker tables, each with a felt surface in deep green, and surrounded by comfortable chairs. Overhead lighting is focused directly on the tables, creating a sense of intimacy and concentration.

The tables

Each table is a full-size oval with a padded rail for comfort during long sessions. The felt surface is a deep green that reduces glare and provides a classic card-room feel. Built-in cup holders and chip trays keep the playing area uncluttered, and each seat has an individual reading light that can be adjusted without disturbing other players.

Etiquette and house rules

  1. Respect the dealer and other players at all times.
  2. Keep conversation at a moderate volume to maintain the room's atmosphere.
  3. Handle cards and chips gently; chips are table props only.
  4. No outside food or drinks; the restaurant menu is available.
  5. Mobile phones on silent; step outside for calls.
  6. Decisions of the floor manager are final.

The Poker Lounge is a social space first. Players are encouraged to introduce themselves, share stories, and enjoy the game's rhythm. New players are always welcome, and the floor manager is available to explain any aspect of the game.

The card lounge atmosphere

The card lounge hums with quiet intensity. The shuffle of cards, the soft click of chips, and low conversation create a rhythm that is both focused and relaxed. The room's design—cool grey walls, warm wood accents, and the green felt of the tables—grounds the experience in tradition while the modern lighting keeps it crisp and contemporary.

Dining integration

The Poker Lounge is fully integrated with the Crown & Willoww restaurant. Players can order from the full menu and have dishes delivered to their table. A selection of share plates and non-alcoholic beverages is available for uninterrupted play, and the bar can prepare cocktails to enjoy during breaks.
